Molecular

We use a variety of different molecular methods to probe the underlying mechanisms of changes in brain activity.

The scope of molecular brain science is ever advancing, and we take advantage of all the latest techniques,

with the ultimate aim of building up a real-time, physiological picture of the cellular events involved in synaptic plasticity in the brain.

In turn, we hope that this will lead to the development of new and original treatments for diseases such as Alzheimer's and Chronic Pain.
